 CDM Regulations 2015:

The Construction Design and Management Regulations were updated in 2015 and were formed to improve the management of health, safety and welfare in the construction industry. The regulation defines:

  • The law that applies to the whole construction process on all construction projects, from concept to completion
  • What each duty holder must or should do to comply with the law to ensure projects are carried out in a way that safeguards health and safety

The CDM guidance is for anyone with legal duties towards their project including:

  • Commercial Clients 
  • Principal Designers
  • Designers
  • Principal Contractors
  • Contractors
  • Workers
