Please find here the Water Infrastructure charges (IC) being levied by the water companies from April 1st 2019 until 31st March 2020.
There has been little change in most of the charges. Water companies have taken the decision to save any big changes until next year, when there is a complete change to how water charges will be calculated.
From 2020, the asset payment on mains laying will be removed and instead replaced by a system, yet to be confirmed, on a payment for each connection. It is likely that this will be offset against the IC’s levied by water companies. How this will applied and affect future budgets and connection costs is to be determined, but for now please review any of your current budgets based on the latest IC’s.
